11/4/2026 The Second “Aggregate” Match Report.
The second Aggregate match on a cold blustery day was on the Bham/ Worc. Canal at Hanbury Wharf, we had 9 out & pegged down to bridge 34, everyone had a moored boat opposite. We expected rain & fished four & a half hours.
Result
Andy Lacey 2-7-0
Gary Buzzard 2-6-0
Brian Burton 2-4-0.
Match Summary;-
Pegs were a bit tight. We expected the high numbers to produce although Pete W. on end peg 1 had open water to his right. Winning weights were close, but it was few bites for the rest. Brian B. had a good Perch on worm, most of the bits were caught on the punch.
We beat the rain which came in the shape of a torrential hail storm when we were back in the car park. Thanks to Dave & Andy for pegging out & Dave & Gary for weighing in.
