18/10/2025 The first Winter League match at Fladbury.
Nine turned out on a dry but windy day.
Result
Roger Middleton. 8-10-0, Peg 22.
Mark Imrie. 8-7-0, Peg 24.
Keith Kite. 4-3-0, Peg 26.
Match Summary;-
Fladbury has become quite predictable this season, with little rain the river is very clear & low. The upstream pegs are producing the weights of small Roach & Dace. You have to fish down the middle to find the fish in the downstream pegs, casting shorter there are Minnows in abundance.
Pegs 22, 24 & 26 again scored, in the last half hour Steve in peg 3 lost a big Chub in the nearside reeds. Thanks to Dave & Roger for weighing in.
