Membership

Associate members must be fully paid up and in procession of a membership card before fishing Fladbury. Membership is “Seasonal” i.e. from June to March the following year..


Availability

Associate members can pleasure fish Fladbury when there are no matches booked, match bookings take priority. Please check the “Fladbury Match Box” on the Home Page for availability. The Society will ensure that one day per weekend will be free for pleasure fishing.



Some Basic Rules

1) Take your membership card with you when visiting Fladbury

2) No night fishing, no bolt rigs, no fires, no bivvies, no heavy pre-baiting

3) Use one rod at a time, not multiple rods

4) Do not remove fish and retain fish for short periods

5) Anglers must be in possession of a landing net

6) Unhook and return fish using the landing net

7) Associate members are not allowed to drive in the field

Associate Members who do not adhere to these basic rules face expulsion from the Society, see Associate Rules.


Membership Cards

You may encounter a bailiff so take your membership card with you when you visit Fladbury. Always ask anglers fishing Fladbury to present their card and advise non-members to leave, please report incidents to the committee.


Catches and News

If you have an exceptional catch, a specimen fish or even a news item, send the Secretary an email or text with photographs and it could be used on the website.

All members please read

The Society has over the years built up a healthy relationship with the local residents and the Society is very keen to maintain this rapport. Please be courteous and drive slowly through the village. The Society will not tolerate bad behaviour.


Insurance/ Liability/ Safety

The GirlingAS Liability Insurance is only applicable to Full Members fishing the matches so please be careful and responsible for your own safety when fishing Fladbury.
